ZENIT® S

Zenit® S is a granular product obtained through heat-treated expansion, at high temperature, of a peculiar variety of magmatic rock. The nature of the mineral and the heat-treatment procedure used for the physical transformation lend ZENIT® S the extraordinary capacity of rapidly absorbing oil products and hydrocarbons accidentally dispersed on the soil (squares, roads, highways etc.). The abrasive nature of the mineral, together with the complete lack of clayey substances, makes ZENIT® S from other similar products in that it ensures good adhesion on asphalt even if the granular is not perfectly removed from the soil after reclamation.

Description

USAGE METHODS

In case of accidental spill the product has to be scattered on the oil stain in the suitable proportions according to the data in the chart. The package must be opened with the special valve in the higher part of the bag. To facilitate the absorbency, it is recommended, when possible, to shake the product with whatever tool is available, adding other granular until the absorption is complete.

SECURITY NORMS

The use of ZENIT® S doesn’t require any particular method, being inert; however, during absorbency, gathering, storage and disposal the laws regarding the absorbed substances must be followed.
