Cleaning ECO 87 – approved dispersant

Cleaning ECO 87 is a state-of-the-art dispersant specifically formulated for cleaning the sea from hydrocarbon spills, as well as for cleaning hulls, bilges and metal parts of boats. Its use fragments crude oil into very fine droplets greatly facilitating the degradation process by microorganisms naturally present in the sea.

Cleaning ECO 87 is effective in waters of varying salinity such as marine and lake surfaces, as well as streams and industrial water systems. Cleaning ECO 87 is totally biodegradable and non-toxic to marine flora and fauna as certified by accredited third-party laboratory. Cleaning ECO 87 has passed all dispersant-emulsifying efficacy, biodegradability, and toxicity tests on algae, crustaceans, and fish, as required by the Decree of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, and has received the relevant official approval as a dispersant product for sea remediation.

Cleaning ECO 87 is effective in both calm and rough sea conditions and should be distributed on the water surface with the appropriate lance sprayers or similar, as is or diluted with water, the same sea water or with fresh water. The dosage and concentration of the product varies according to the quantity and quality of the spilled hydrocarbons. Cleaning Tech is available to customers to provide all ‘technical assistance necessary to achieve optimal results.

Cleaning ECO 87 disperses and emulsifies light and heavy hydrocarbons, as well as organic and biological sludge, feces, and fouling. It is especially recommended for heavy hydrocarbon dispersion. The special formulation of Cleaning ECO 87 and its use as a dispersant for oil spills or as a cleaning agent for sand, rock formations, shorelines, machinery, tanks, cisterns and drilling rigs are covered by Italian and European patents.
