BARRIER BO10/15
BO10/15 are LIGHTWEIGHT, easy-to-install CIRCULAR BARRIERS, ideal for containing hydrocarbon pollution in canals and streams. They are made of sturdy polyester backing coated on both sides with PVC. Buoyancy and buoyancy reserve are provided by special cylindrical templates made of Stratocel® (closed-cell polyethylene) and enclosed within the fabric by heat-sealing. An appropriate ballasted appendage ensures the stability of the barrier and continuity of containment up to elevation – cm.15. The total tensile strength, offered by the polyester fabric, is greater than kg.3600, however, as a further guarantee, the chains of the individual modules, used as ballast, can be spliced together further increasing the strength of the artifact. The barrier is supplied in standard mt.10 segments, or in the sizes specified by the Customer. Each segment is assembled to the next by means of AISI316 steel plates and fi xed with screws and wing nuts. MAINTENANCE
The simplicity of construction and the quality of materials used means that the barrier does not require special maintenance. However, it is essential at the end of each use to provide a thorough cleaning before storage. For every eventuality, including tears due to adverse weather and sea conditions, our company can provide any maintenance work and provide the necessary advice for minor repairs.
EMPLOYMENTS
The BO MODEL is designed to meet the needs of use for fi xed or semi fi xed barrages; for example, in fi ums where the current does not allow the use of vertical barriers. The barrier is normally supplied orange color, but can be produced in other colors upon request.
