Z/FP BARRIER

Z/FP are entirely handmade barriers. Their constituent materials are scrupulously selected to allow the artifacts a long stay in both fresh and salt water. Barriers are supplied in modules of 10 m and multiples. Segments of intermediate sizes can be made for particular situations. The artifacts find use in permanent installations for containing foams, oily residues and floating solid wastes. Z/FP barriers have the property of not returning absorbed oils and ensure containment even if full saturation is reached. Z/FP barriers consist of a central cable (made of nylon, polyester or stainless steel) on which special floats with a central hole and through-hole are placed. The floats, made of a special foam, are sized according to the different diameters to be obtained. The core of the barrier, consisting of support rope, floats, spacers, is covered with polypropylene flake pressed inside a first coating of mesh in order to make it compact and uniform. An additional double coating of T.N.T. (non-woven fabric) and polypropylene mesh will ensure the tightness of the staple and perfect circular shape. The construction details, the materials selected and the care with which Z/FP’ barriers are handcrafted make the products among the most reliable in terms of use, effectiveness and durability. All barrier models, upon request, can be supplied with a ballasted appendage and P.V.C. covering cape in the desired colors.
